Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Lowry, of Cullman, passed away Feb. 16, 2023 at the age of 93. She was born in Cullman on June 25, 1929 to Ervin and Florence Dean Calvert. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband: P.E. (Jack) Lowry.
Funeral services are Monday, Feb. 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Reid officiating. Interment will follow services in Bethsadia Cemetery. Betty will lie-in-state at the church for one hour prior to the service.
Survivors are: sisters: Mary Nell Crook, Glenda (Dennis) Shinn, brother: Sim Calvert, a host of loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and other family.
Visitation is Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023 at Moss Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
