Eula Dean McGaughy, 87 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at her residence.
Dean was born on July 1, 1935, in Lawrence County, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, from 2 – 3 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home – Double Springs. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Dean is survived by her sons: Jerry Dale McGaughy and Gary McGaughy (Jackie); grandsons: Brandon McGaughy and Jared McGaughy (Megan); great grandchildren: Kynlie McGaughy, Alyssa McGaughy, and Parker McGaughy; brother: Kelly Jetton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Everett Emoise McGaughy; parents: Walter and Della Jetton; brothers: Gurtis and Carlton Jetton; and sisters: Evelene Hill and Faye Marshal.
