Funeral service for Jimmie Ray Rodgers, 82, of Odenville, formerly of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2022, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Duck Creek Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Mr. Rodgers passed from this life Monday, August 15, 2022. He was born April 12, 1940, to Athel E.V. & Magalene Skinner Rodgers. Jimmie was a hard worker and was employed with Vulcan Materials for 25 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved his family. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Timmie Rodgers; brother: Dwight Rodgers; sister: Wanda Gail Rodgers.
Survivors include his wife: Carolyn Prince Rodgers; son: David (Christy) Rodgers; daughter: Gelene (Scott) Tipton; daughter-in-law: Donna Rodgers; brother: Lavon (Rhonda) Rodgers; half-brother: Roger Dale Rodgers; sister-in-law: Brenda Rodgers; half-sisters: Martha Sue Henderson, Mary Lou Mann; step-mother: Blanche Rodgers; sister-in-law: Brenda Rodgers; grandchildren: Amber Freeman, Jordan Rodgers; step-grandchildren: Brooklee Coffee, Destanee Coffee, Zeta Coffee, Renea Standridge; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
