Ruby Nell Graves, 89, of Bangor entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1933 in Searles, Alabama to Henry and Elizabeth Davis Sellers. Ruby was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She was the caretaker at Bangor Cemetery for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James Graves; her son: Wayne Graves; her daughter: Kimberly Graves; her grandson: Brent Smith; her sister: Jo Caldwell; three brothers: Paul Gant, Jack sellers and Terry Sellers and her son-in-law: James Casey.
She is survived by her daughter: Jan (Danny) Fleming; her two sons: Doug (Charlene) Graves and Steve (Wendy) Graves; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister: Delora Howton and her brother: HD (Linda) Sellers; her daughter in-love: Paula Rice Pannell and her loving companion, her dog Rusty.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Blount Springs Baptist Church, where the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bangor Cemetery. Moss Service Funeral Home directing.
