Obituary: Robby Allen Wilson

Robby Allen Wilson, 49, of Nauvoo, formerly of Addison, entered into rest on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.

He was born on January 16, 1973 in Miami, Florida to Gary and Denelda Cook Wilson. He was a big “Roll Tide” fan and loved Corvettes, Hot Wheel cars and Barbie dolls. He built pole barns and was good at it. Robby loved music, dancing—his favorite was to do the “Robot,” and to have a good time. He loved the ocean and to stay tan but, most of all he loved his family, especially his kids and grand babies.

Visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Addison Church of God Cemetery. Pastor Rodney Ridgeway will officiate.

Robby is survived by his daughters: Barbie Wilson and Sarah Wilson; sons: Cody Freeman and Sage Gutherie; grandchildren: River Colwell, Copelynn Norris, Brayli Rae Harrison, Ryker Freeman and Gunner Freeman; sister: Sandra Carter; brothers: Tyler Wilson (Keisha Scott) and Scotty Osborn (Alisha); aunt: Delder Anders and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Denelda Osborn; father: Gary Wilson; sister: Barbara Wilson; grandmother: Ruth Burney; aunt: Gloria Avery and cousin: Anthony Pearson.

The family has requested for anyone who is to attend the service to please wear an Alabama shirt or a rock band shirt in honor of Robby.
