HOLLY POND, Ala. – Pine Grove Trading Co. has a true desire to make a house feel like a home, a sentiment the mother/daughter duo store owners share.

Donna Cain and daughter Mallory Arrington have been in business in Holly Pond since 2017, but decided it was time for a location change with a new store front look.

“We take pride in appreciating the old while incorporating the new, not only in the products we choose, but also in the way we do business,” Arrington said. “Three generations of our family work together to provide shoppers with quality products and genuine service.”

The Town of Holly Pond met together at the location on Brooklyn Road Friday morning to celebrate with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

“We hope that our collection of home decor, antiques and gifts will be just what you need to create that feeling of home for you and your family,” Arrington said.

Holly Pond Mayor Carla Hart shared her vision for the town with new businesses blossoming in the community.

“This is our fourth business to host a ribbon cutting for in 2021–I always say we’re a small town with big dreams,” Hart said. “We’re blessed to have them here and have an additional business choosing to be in our community. We hope that everyone will support our hometown businesses.”
