Graveside service with military honors for Ricky L. Calvert, 71, of Cullman will be Monday, November 15, 2021 at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL with Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Calvert passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born July 8, 1950 to O.V. & Violet Calvert. Ricky was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired after 37 years from AT&T. He loved farming and working with his cattle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife: Karen Calvert; daughters: Lori (Kevin) Schnittker and Lisa Stevens; step-daughters: Callie (Grant) Schaefers and Cassie (Wes) Coffee; brother: Byron (Sherry) Calvert; sister: Brenda (Frank) Flautt; grandchildren: Cori and Cody Stevens, Cole and Cloe Shelton, Allen and Liam Schnittker, Alysa, Alyia and Alyvia Schaefers; family and friends.
