Alton Wayne Barnett, age 72, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. Alton was born November 15, 1948, in Cullman, Alabama to Irene Bice Barnett and Gilbert Lee Barnett.
Alton is survived by his loving wife of 10 years: Johnnie Sue Barnett; his sister: Vaudean Crumbley; his brother: Randy Barnett; his sons: Kyle (Lisa) Barnett, Michael (Tracy) Barnett; his daughter: Rebecca Jones; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Alton was preceded in death by his parents: Irene Bice and Gilbert Lee Barnett and his six siblings.
A celebration of life visitation for Alton will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055). A celebration of life funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. An interment will occur at Welti Cumberland Presbyterian Church (8817 County Road 847, Cullman, AL 35055).
