Earl Flenoy Crumpton, age 89, of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Crumpton was born on August 6, 1932 in Franklin County, Alabama. Earl loved to work in the yard and spend time with his family.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. A graveside service will be held at Winston Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation on Saturday. Pastor Ray Bridgmon will officiate.
Earl is survived by his wife of 59 years: Virginia Crumpton; sons: Vince Crumpton, Tim (Michele) Crumpton and Russell (Jennifer) Sumner; grandchildren: Eric (Brittany) Crumpton, Jenna Crumpton, Sarah Crumpton and Scott Sumner and siblings: Nell (Bill) Bradford, Von Frederick, Carolyn (Bill) Frye, Ann (Wayne) Wigington, Harold (Betty) Crumpton, Brenda Crumpton and Deneice Russell.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Vera Crumpton and siblings: Lehman Crumpton, Barbara Jean Crumpton, Susan Pearce, and Edna Mae Strickland.
