Fred Calvin Alston, age 96, of Addison, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Mr. Alston proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1943-1947.
The family will hold a celebration of life at the Fred Alston residence (244 Alston Road, Addison, Alabama 35540) on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Fred is survived by his daughter: Barbara Alston Yongue; son: Steven (Connie) Alston; grandchildren: Webb Yongue, Brittany Yongue (Chris) Ward and Jessica Yongue and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Becky Alston and parents: Emerson Clark Alston and Belle Dewberry Alston.
