Funeral services for Frieda Pauline Batemon, 70, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery. Reverend Heath Riggs will officiate. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home beginning at noon.
Mrs. Batemon is survived by her husband: Jimmie Batemon; children: Dana Batemon McRee (Waldo), Jimmie “Jay” Raye Batemon II, Michael Raye Batemon (Deanna), and Curtis Raye Batemon (Ketsarin); 9 grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren; a brother: Charles Johns (Marie) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Batemon was preceded in death by her parents: Taft and Virginia McGuffie) Johns and two sisters: Robbie Smith and Octavia Popee.
