Obituary: Johnathan Wade Bryant

Johnathan Wade Bryant, 23, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on April 2, 2021. He was born January 10, 1998, in Marshall County, Alabama, to Wayne Bryant and Charlotte Crane Bryant.

Johnathan had a passion for cars. He loved to work on vehicles and was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed speakers and amps and he appreciated a loud car. Johnathan enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and he also loved to sing. He had a beautiful voice and often could be heard singing along with whatever country song was playing on the radio. Johnathan also loved his children. Johnathan was not only a son and brother, he was a daddy, and he will be missed by all those who loved him so dearly.

Johnathan is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Billy Mack Bryant and Darrel Jacques.

He is survived by his parents, Wayne Bryant and Charlotte Bryant; girlfriend, Destiny Roden; sons, Easten Bryant, Brayden York; daughter, Kylie Grace Bryant; brothers, Steven Wayne Bryant and Johnathan Matthew Bryant; sisters, Samantha Elaine Bryant and Brittney Winkles; grandmothers, Faye Bryant and Charlotte Jacques; a host of cousins; and many loving friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Bryant are 1 p.m., Friday, April 9, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, pastor Jerry Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, in Royal, Alabama, with Brittany Winkles, Justin Bryant, Chris Bryant, Ryan Horton, Jeremy Mallicoate, Kenny Abbot, and Justin Harris serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the Bryant family an hour prior to services, from 12 noon until services begin.
