Funeral services for Brenda Jo Maynard Golden, 71, of Baileyton will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday night, Feb. 24, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Brooklyn Cemetery. Reverend Steve Rodgers, Reverend Millard Guffey, and Reverend Wade Maynard will officiate the service.

Mrs. Golden passed from this life Feb. 22, 2021 at the Huntsville Hospital for Women. She was born Jan. 18, 1950 to Milburn D.C. and Addie “Boots” Watson Maynard. She loved to be outdoors, flowers, taking care of family and did a great job doing it. She loved to travel, going to the mountains, beautiful sunsets, and Sunday afternoon rides.
Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her parents; her son Lance Golden; and her father and mother-in-law Jessie M. and Leedie Golden.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Golden; daughter Alisha Golden; brother Steven Anthony (Barbara) Maynard; sister Sandra Lynn (Jimmy) Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
