Jerry Douglas Lindsey, 82, of Addison entered into rest Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at his home.
Jerry was born Aug. 13, 1938 in Huntsville, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he retired after 20 years. After his retirement, he received an associate degree from Wallace State Community College. He was an avid motorcyclist and was always willing to help anybody.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Addison. Reverend John T. White will officiate.
Jerry is survived by his daughter Midori Ashikita; brother James Lindsey and his wife Karen; grandchildren Naoko and Yuki Ashikita; and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Yoshiko Lindsey; parents Damon Willard and Dunreath Gertrude Lindsey; and brother Dusty Lindsey.
