Funeral services for Mary Ellen Farley, 83, of Ft. Payne, formerly of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Heritage cemetery; Rev. Richard Pope officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Farley passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at Dekalb Regional Hospital. She was born July 21, 1937 to Marvin Theodore and Inez Nichols Hall. She was a good Christian lady. She enjoyed her church and family and always put her family above her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Billy Joe Farley; daughters Laura Powell and Faith Lawrence; and brothers and sisters Charlotte Mosley, Bobbie Sue Hall, Bill Hall, and Cecil Hall.
Survivors include her sons David (Debbie) Farley, Dennis Farley, and Max (Sharon) Farley; daughter Lisa Sandlin; brothers Ralph (Mildred) Hall and Jim Hall; sisters Grace Haynes and Nilah Harbison; 14 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
