Obituary: Tommy Dean Walker

Tommy Dean Walker, 80, of Addison entered into rest Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 in Yuma, Arizona.

Tommy was born March 26, 1940 in Danville, Alabama. He attended Addison High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he retired as Master Chief. He loved driving his truck, working on his cattle farm, and helping everyone he could.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. A graveside service with military honors will be on Friday at Arley Congregational Christian Church Cemetery in Arley. Brother Kenny Sudduth will officiate. The family requests that all attendees please wear a mask.

Tommy is survived by his wife Sandy Walker; son Dwight Walker and his wife Yvonne; daughter Lori Tellarico; grandchildren Joseph Tellarico, Marisa Tellarico, Benny Tellarico, and Amanda Newton; great-grandchildren Daniel Newton; sisters Kathleen Smith, Jewel Bailey, and Betty Ledford; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Laura Walker; son Dean Walker; brother Clyde Walker; and sister Linda Jane Walker.
