Funeral services for James Orville Farley, 84, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman City Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Joe McNulty and Rev. Greg Story will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from noon-2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Farley passed away Dec. 13, 2020 at Cullman Regional Hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1936 to David Almon and Maudelia Ann Key Farley. He was a devoted member of Cornerstone Nazarene Church. He served his country in the United States Army. He loved everyone he met and was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother Grace Posey Farley; wife of 60 years, Sarah Catherine Stephenson Farley; brothers Leldon Farley and Buren Farley; and sisters Dorthy Farley Barnett and Mildred Farley Keen.
Survivors include his wife Jewell Hancock Farley; sister Lolas Farley Wooten of Arley, AL; brothers-in-law David (Marie) Stephenson and Bob (Joan) Stephenson; step-daughters Clarissa White, Marsha Hale, and Mary Hale; and a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
