Graveside services for Michael “Skeet” Dewayne Trucks, of Crane Hill who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at the age of 58, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020 at Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy McClendon officiating. Moss Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Smith Lake Baptist Church Friday, Dec. 11, 2020 from 5-8 p.m.
Skeet loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved traveling and vacationing with his family, he especially loved going to the beach. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and wood working. He had a great sense of humor and was known as a jokester. He worked as a Senior Project Manager for Walmart and truly loved his job. He was also a horse and cattle farmer. He was a member of Smith Lake Baptist Church and served as choir director for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Wayne Trucks.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 38 years, Cathy Goddard Trucks; daughters Jenna Trucks Brock (Jason) and Courtney Trucks Lowery (Zach); grandchildren Chloe and Chance Brock and Memphis Lowery; sisters Becky Freeman (Jeff) and Christie Burrow (Ron); nieces Haley Freeman and Abi Burrow; nephews Josh Freeman, Hunter Freeman, and Asa Burrow; and mother Ann G. Trucks.
