Kathern Louada Bridges, 65, of Haleyville passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020 in Double Springs, Alabama.
Kathern was born Nov. 11, 1954 in Fall City, Alabama to James Clarence and Willie Lou Barnes.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020 from noon-1 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be held at Flat Woods Cemetery in Nauvoo, Alabama. Brother Adam Tidwell will officiate.
Kathern is survived by her daughter Amy (Eddie) Welch; son Christopher Bridges (Kelly Smith); grandchildren Christanna Bridges, Gauge Bridges, Jasmine Bridges, Eddie “Booner” Welch Jr., Dante` Smith, and Keli Orton; great-grandchildren Avianna Smith, Navana Smith, and unborn Kathern Belle Planchet; siblings WL (Shirley) Barnes, Billy Joe (Eva) Barnes, Elizabeth (Albert) Cagle, Nemia (Cranford) Taylor, Juanita (Earl) Liverett, Sara (Joe) Baker, and Wanda (Anthony) Dutton; a host of nieces and nephews; and former husband Milton Wayne Bridges.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Clarence and Willie Lou (Nix) Barnes; brother James Howard Barnes; and grandparents.
