Lynda Frances Rains, 76, of Hanceville, formerly of Birmingham passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020 at Hanceville Nursing Home after a long battle of Alzheimer’s.
She was born Jan. 2, 1944 to Clifton Lonnie and Clara Bunt Tucker. She loved traveling, reading, gardening, painting and organizing. She loved playing and telling stories with all her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers John O. Tucker, Wade Tucker and Wayne Tucker.
Survivors include her husband Robert L. Rains; daughters Dionis Rains (Greg) Brown and Marnie Rains Davis; grandchildren Jacob (Kelli) Brown, Taylor (Blake) Howell, Ben, Max, and Henry and Langley Davis; four great-grandchildren; and family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Nov. 15, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at the Little White Room in Cullman, Alabama.
