Cora Nadine Allen Nunnelley, born to Horace Fletcher Allen and Daisy Luella Martin Allen Aug.26, 1921, mother to Carolyn Mullenix, Bob Nunnelley, David Nunnelley, Celia Nunnelley, and Joan Powell, passed away June 29, 2020.

She is survived by four children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Nadine was a mother, author, retired from Alabama (Auburn University) Cooperative Extension Service in Cullman, and taught knitting, crochet, and tatting to multiple generations. Her book “Tatting 101” keeps the tradition of tatting alive and has been sold throughout the U.S., UK, Europe, and Australia. In recent years she knitted hundreds of caps for St. Jude’s cancer victims and pairs of booties for the Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Her graveside service will be held at Welcome Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2020.
