In 2008, he and Joan moved to Taos, New Mexico for a few years until they returned to Cullman in 2016. He lived a very colorful life filled with many stories and adventures.

Larry is proceeded in death by his parents William Clifton Dunlap and Iva Lee “Boots” Dunlap and brother David Lee.

He is survived by his wife Joan; their two daughters Elizabeth (Kirk) Knudsen and Stephanie (Josh) Wiggins; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; two brothers Tim (Tammie) Dunlap and Phillip Dunlap; nephews Kyle Dunlap and Alex Dunlap; and his favorite dog Buddy.
