George William “Bill” Hawkins, Jr., 76, of Double Springs entered into rest Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 at Hendrix Health & Rehabilitation.
Bill was born Feb. 8, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland.
He was the owner and operator of a service station for many years before his retirement.
There are no services planned at this time.
George is survived by his wife Ruth Hawkins; son Jeff Hawkins; daughter Christie Hawkins; brother David Hawkins; sister Marylu Butler; and grandchildren Taylor Hawkins, Jeff Hawkins, Jr. and Jennifer Haen.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Laurie Haen and parents George and Nellie Hawkins.
