Virginia Louise Absher, 85, of Cullman passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019.
She was born July 22, 1934 in Cullman County to Gus and Florence Kinney Kretzschmar.
Louise was a homemaker. She was also a member of Berlin Baptist Church.
Mrs. Absher is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Florence Kinney Kretzschmar; husband Wiley Ray Absher; son Charlie Ray Absher; and brother Harold Kretzschmar.
Survivors include daughters Luann (Atlee Jr.) Beene, Sandra Eileen Sims and Cynthia Diane (Anthony) Freeman; sister Diane (Jerry) Hollis; daughter-in-law Jan Absher; grandchildren Becca Jones, Atlee Beene III, John Beene, Emily Crittenden, Virgilia Woodard, Veronica Sims, Tyler Hamby, Quinton Sims and Trevor Hamby; and a host of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Absher are at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel; Pastor Lynn Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Garden City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services, from noon until services begin.
