CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – A Cullman woman died following a wreck near mile marker 294 along Interstate 65 South Monday night. Cullman County Coroner Jeremy L. Kilpatrick identified the woman as Janice Harvell Wisener, 56.
Wisener was struck by a vehicle at the scene of another wreck.
Alabama State Troopers said the incident happened at 7:50 p.m. Troopers said Wisener was struck by a 2019 Ford Expedition while crossing Interstate 65 4 miles south of Dodge City.
Wisener was transported to UAB Hospital where she died of her injuries. Â
The driver of the Ford was not injured and remained at the scene.
Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
