Robert Lee “Hobo” Brown, 77, of Haleyville passed away at Huntsville Hospital Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019.
Robert was born July 13, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church for 15 years. He enjoyed being with his family and his dog Buddy.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Services will be Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Thomas Gilbert and Brother Jeff Whitten will officiate.
Robert is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda Corkren Brown; son, Brian (Rachelle) Roberts; daughter, Sharon (Kin) Wilson; brothers, William “Bunk” (Sue) Brown and Jimmy T. (Sandra) Brown; sisters, Lola Mae Poe and Louise Bourque; He was Paw Paw to seven grandchildren, Dakota Roberts, Colby Roberts, Cameron Collier, and Brody Collier, Gavin Wilson, Greyson Wilson, Ganon Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Ramey Brown; his parents, William Gladys Brown and Clara Pike Brown Moore; and brothers-in-law, Willie Bourque and Cecil Poe.
