Funeral services for James Olen “Sonny” Brown, 82, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Cullman City Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Brown passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019. He was born Oct. 21, 1936 to Barney and Maude Brown. He owned several businesses in the Good Hope area over the years. He was an auxiliary state trooper and county deputy.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Williams Brown and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Barry (Jamie) Brown and a daughter, Dana Brown; and many friends.
Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
