Donald Roger Cheatham, 84, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski, TN.
He was born in Falkville, AL Dec. 16, 1934.
He retired from freight transportation and served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Cheatham was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Ervin and Flossie Arlene Buckelew Cheatham, first wife, Camille Russell Cheatham, daughter, Kathy Cheatham Nix, sister, Betty Cheatham Burden, and brother, Delaine Cheatham.
Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Corinth Cemetery West in Battleground, AL.
Survivors are: wife, Darlene Nix Cheatham of Bodenham, TN, children, Keith Cheatham and Virginia of Hattiesburg, MS, Roger Cheatham and Debbie of Daleville, MS, Mitzi Sumrall of Cleveland, TN, Scott Cheatham of Vancleave, MS, Wayne Cheatham and Eva of Laurel, MS, sister in law, Opal Gilliam of Murfreesboro, TN, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
