Obituary: Ethel Kay Holland

It is with great sadness that the family of Ethel Kay Holland of Crane Hill, AL announces her sudden passing on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 67.

She is now reunited with her loved ones that preceded her in death, parents: Eugene and Margaret Jane Isaacs Kiskaden; husband, Walter Curtis Holland, Sr.; daughter, Christy Holland Sharpton; and brothers: Ralph J. Kiskaden and Walter Kiskaden.

Mrs. Holland was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was always willing to help anyone she could and even took several young people into her home when they needed a place and she claimed them as her own. She loved working in her flower gardens and especially enjoyed her roses. She was also a talented seamstress and upholsterer. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was lovingly known at “Grandma” to them.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Walter (Denenda) Holland, Jr.; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers: Charles (Judy) Kiskaden and Walter Kiskaden; special chosen daughters: Joyce Glaze and Carman Cupp; special chosen sons: Lee Wagner, Jason Wagner and Jessie Wagner; special chosen sister, Ann Sanford; special chosen brother, Wade Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Her Celebration of Life service will be in the chapel of Moss Service Funeral Home on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 3 p.m. Her family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. until service time. Burial will immediately follow at Hebron Church of Christ cemetery.
