LaDonna Pierce Hill, 66, peacefully passed away on April 7, 2019 in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Texarkana, Arkansas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with a celebration of life service to follow at Moss Funeral Home, Cullman, AL. She will then be buried in Nectar Cemetery, Nectar, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Laydon Pierce, Jr. and Edla Sanders Pierce Davis; father-in-law, Phillip Hill; brother-in-law, Roger Lee Gunn, Sr.; and husband, Wayne Hill.
She is survived by her child, Bradley Hill; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Montross; grandson, Trevor Montoya; sister, Jackie Webb; brother-in-law, Scott Webb; nieces, Chelsea Clem (husband Micah), Maddea Ramirez (husband Daniel), Jessea Dimas (husband Jorge), and nephew Jaxon Webb; mother-in-law Lorene Hill; sister-in-law Jeanette Hill Gunn; nephew, Adam Lee Gunn; great nieces, aunts, cousins and many friends.
Mrs. Hill worked in banking for well over 20 years and also taught special needs children for a short period. She loved all children unconditionally and often gave selflessly to others even when it meant she would go without. She had a big heart and would be remembered fondly by anyone she met. Mrs. Hill enjoyed family, cooking, reading, music and cheering for the Auburn Tigers.
