Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte June Keese Nelson, 79, of Cullman are Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Northbrook Baptist Church, Rev. Wade Maynard officiating, with interment in Oak Level Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Nelson passed away on Monday morning, Jan. 21, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Cullman, Alabama. June was active in the community and at her church. She was very well loved by a multitude of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lillian Keese; brother, George Keese; sister, Donna Keese Calvert; husbands, Bobby Latham and John Nelson and son, Stanley Latham.
She is survived by daughters, Anita Latham (Robert) Crumbley and Amy Nelson Turnbow; son, Ray (Heidi) Ayers; sister, Mary Nell (Sam) Johns; grandchildren, Raylyn (Jaliegha) Ayers, Allison Crumbley, Jenson Ayers, Will Crumbley, Timothy Turnbow, Matthew (Melody) Turnbow and Victoria Turnbow; great grandchild, Paisley Ayers and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be given to Northbrook Baptist Church’s Ministry, The Caring Center.
