Tammy Diane Scruggs, age 64, went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Tammy was born February 11, 1962, and lived a life filled with happiness, laughter, and simple joys. She graduated from the Margaret Jean Jones Center in 1980. Over her lifetime, she enjoyed cruises and other trips and spending time on the fishing boat with her parents. Some of Tammy’s favorite pastimes included watching the Andy Griffith Show and “Spin the Wheel” (aka Wheel of Fortune), drinking Yoo-Hoos and Mountain Dew, playing Wii Bowling, and circling letters in her Search A Word Puzzle Books.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Scruggs, her brother, Gene Scruggs and her grandparents, Clyde & Ida Scruggs and Ocie & Ruby Golson. She is survived by her loving mother, Emma Scruggs; her brothers Scott (Alesia) Scruggs, and Steve (Kathy) Scruggs; her sister, Janet (Don) Wilson and her sister-in-law, Robin. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, along with numerous friends that she has made throughout the years.
A Visitation will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave. NW, Cullman, AL 35055) on Wednesday, October 21st from noon to 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Jones Chapel Cemetery (across from Jones Chapel Church of Christ, 121 County Rd 1115, Cullman, AL 35057).
