Lifelong Cullman resident, devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, and beloved chiropractor, Cary Bennett, born September 21, 1961, to Margie and Dwight Bennett, entered into eternal rest on Friday morning, June 26, 2026.

A lifelong member of the Sacred Heart parish family, Cary lived his faith through a life of service to others. He owned and operated Bennett Chiropractic Clinic on Graham Street, where he faithfully cared for generations of families. Throughout his years of practice, he became much more than a skilled chiropractor—he was a compassionate caregiver, a trusted confidant, and a steadfast source of comfort and encouragement to countless patients.

Patients and friends will fondly remember Cary for his quick wit, his caring conversations, and the genuine interest he took in their lives. He delighted in asking about their families and eagerly shared in the joy of his own, especially as he looked forward to welcoming his first grandchild. His warmth and kindness made everyone feel known, valued, and loved.

Known for his generous spirit, warm smile, and genuine concern for others, Cary lived a life of service. His patient-first approach reflected the compassion of Christ, reminding all who knew him that true healing begins with kindness, humility, and a servant’s heart. His legacy will live on not only in the lives he helped heal physically, but also in the hope, friendship, and love he shared so freely.

While his absence leaves a profound void, we take comfort in the hope that comes from our faith in the Risen Christ. We pray that the Lord will welcome him into His eternal kingdom and grant comfort, strength, and peace to all who grieve, especially his family and friends.

Cary is survived by his loving wife, Amy Edwards Bennett; his daughter, Mary Claire (Joe David) Brown; his son, Kramer Bennett; his grandson, Bennett Keith; and his five siblings: Wendy (Carson) Glasscock, Ken (Lisa) Bennett, Leanna (Scott) MacRae, Todd (Catherine) Bennett, and Kristi (Mike) Wilson.

As we commend Cary to the loving mercy of God, may we find comfort in Christ’s promise: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live” (John 11:25).
