Dolores Frieda Stevenson, age 97, of Cullman, passed away on May 8, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1928, and lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family and community.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Center Grove Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Ashley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m.
Dolores was a longtime member of Center Grove Baptist Church, where she faithfully worshiped and joyfully sang in the choir for many years. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she found great comfort and guidance in reading her Bible daily.
She had a gift for working with her hands and spent countless happy hours quilting, knitting, and sewing beautiful creations for those she loved. Dolores especially cherished time with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Henry and Catherine Kohapka Pulfer; her husband, Robert Ayres Stevenson, Sr.; son, Robert Ayres Stevenson, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Catherine (Jeffrey) Webb, Judith (Randy) Teal; son, Kenneth (Marian) Stevenson; grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) Webb, Shalon Webb, Kendall (Josh) Tidmore, Kaitlyn (Phillip) Pettijohn, Stephanie (Phillip) Ashley, Andy Smith; eleven great-grandchildren; special friends, Scarlet Farris and Isaac Farris; family and friends.
Dolores leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
