Mary Kathryn Calligaris, 92, of Cullman, Alabama, was born June 10, 1933, in Corning, New York, and passed away on February 27, 2026. Mary Kathryn was devoted and faithful throughout her life, and she will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love.
Mary Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Robison, Mary (Ed) Calligaris Brooks, and Jane (Pete) Calligaris Burgos; her sons, Anthony Joseph Calligaris and Thomas Gerard (Laurie) Calligaris; her sister, Frances Wellman; her brother, Harold Nixon; and her daughter in law, Karen Calligaris Rodriguez. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Mary Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elvy Calligaris; her son, Ed Calligaris; her grandson, John Calligaris; and her parents, Harold and Elizabeth Nixon.
Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 217 2nd St SE, Cullman, AL 35055, on March 5, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A Rosary will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on March 5, 2026, from 7:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church on March 6, 2026, at 10 a.m.
