CULLMAN, Ala. – A roofer was injured Tuesday while working at the Cullman County Emergency Management Agency/Water Department building on Beech Avenue.

Cullman County Commission Chairman Kenneth Walker released the following statement to the media:

“Earlier today, an accident involving an employee of a roofing contractor occurred at the Cullman County Emergency Management / Water Department Building located at 2020 Beech Ave. SE, Cullman, Alabama.  The roofing contractor was making repairs on the building from the March 2018 hailstorm that impacted large portions of the city of Cullman. The injured individual was conscious following the accident, and was taken to the hospital, treated and released. I wish the employee a speedy recovery, and would encourage everyone to keep this employee in your thoughts and prayers.”
