CULLMAN, Ala. – Local nonprofit Hope Horses, Inc. celebrated 10 years of serving the community this week, welcoming the community to a ribbon cutting event on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Executive Director Kelsey Scott said, “The big thing here and the success and growth of Hope is the people that are involved – our staff. I really want to highlight them and share my appreciation. Every person involved on the staff here and their dedication, passion and strength makes this team work. I think Hope is a community organization and we rely very heavily on people being involved in order to be supported. Through word of mouth, volunteering, financial donations, efforts made here have helped Hope become successful over the years. It really takes a village. I love our village here.”

The nonprofit provides therapeutic horsemanship programs to individuals with special physical, social, cognitive and emotional needs.

Hope Horses is completely dependent on fundraising events and donations from the community. For more information, or to get involved with Hope Horses Inc., visit hopehorsesinc.com. It is located at 1301 Convent Road NE in Cullman.
